Social Justice Training

On January 28, 2025, Dr. Choman Hardi led a one-day workshop for Nwe Organisation for Protection of Environment and Women’s Rights, in Halabja. The participants were members of the organization. The session explored how inequality is socially constructed and maintained through various social, cultural, and institutional mechanisms, including the influence of family, education, culture, religion, and law. Participants engaged in critical discussions about how these structures sustain unequal power relations and how greater awareness of them can contribute to advancing social justice and women’s rights.
