A Poetry Reading

On September 21, 2025, Dr. Choman Hardi delivered an online poetry reading that delved into themes of women’s experiences, homeland, and the enduring traumas of genocide. Through her evocative and deeply human verses, Dr. Hardi reflected on memory, loss, resilience, and the search for belonging. The event, organized and facilitated by Taher Khaledi of the Dialog Organisation in Sweden, brought together an engaged audience from across regions to share in an evening of reflection, empathy, and artistic connection. The reading was followed by an insightful question-and-answer session, during which participants expressed their appreciation for the poetry and discussed how it offered them a space to reflect on these complex and painful issues.
