Women’s Rights Under Pressure

On June 10, 2023, the Hardi Cultural Center convened a focused dialogue with 10 civil society activists and academics to explore urgent challenges facing women’s rights and civic space amid increasing backlash and restrictions. The discussion centered on three key questions: the evolving threats to activism and rights work, how strategies and structures must adapt, and which organizations, stakeholders, and networks can support resilience and collective action. Insights from this session will inform future programming and advocacy efforts.
